yoga classes for self care
We welcome you to our weekly gentle yoga classes suitable for all bodies and minds
Are you looking for yoga classes that invite you to feel what is right for your body and mind?
In the gentle yoga classes in Nimbin and Larnook you give yourself time to be with yourself and bring your attention inwards in a safe way.
As your body relaxes and your breath deepens, there is space to observe your thoughts and beliefs and to reconnect with your self.
Understanding yourself better and being more loving towards yourself will affect the way you see and connect with the world around you.
meditation classes for peace of mind
Welcome everything fully in the here and now, just as it is.
Finding safety, belonging and love within you changes how you see the world. It makes it easier to take in the good, and let go of hurt. In addition it gives you the space and understanding to respond, instead of react, to whatever happens in your life.
Learn a simple mindfulness-based meditation called iRest®. iRest meditation combines current neuroscience and psychology with ancient yogic and Buddhist wisdom.
Our weekly drop-in meditation classes in Lismore are designed so that you are free to come to any class without the need to pre-register or attend an entire course.
trauma sensitive yoga to reclaim your body
A traumatic event or traumatic period in your life can have a big impact on how you relate to yourself, your body and others.
Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY) can offer you ways to safely explore sensations in your body in the present moment.
Trauma sensitive yoga was developed with feedback from trauma survivors and is very different from other yoga classes.
You are invited to practice yoga in a way to works for you. There is no right or wrong way to practice.
You always have choices, also to not participate in a certain move or form. The yoga facilitator practices with you and does not make adjustments to your body.
yoga therapy for self healing
Personal yoga therapy sessions can give you a helping hand on your path to health and wellbeing.
Yoga therapy works holistically. Instead of treating a symptom, yoga therapy tries to get to the cause of the imbalance that is making you feel unwell or in pain.
Are you overwhelmed by the demands of your life, in daily battle with your inner critic and tired of it? Are you diagnosed with burn out, anxiety, depression or PTSD?
We hear you, feel you and have been there too and know that yoga therapy can support you to get back on track.
Yoga therapy can also help you with injuries, back pain, illness and chronic pain, and is complementary with other treatments you might be receiving.
